What is a WordPress template

A WordPress template serves as the skin for webpages built using the WordPress content management system. A WordPress template is very simple to setup. You can quickly alter the appearance of your WordPress website by installing a new template. A WordPress template comes with all the necessary source files, and you are free to modify and expand it however you see fit.

Files structure

The template package that you got is divided into various folders. Let's examine the contents of each folder:

  • Screenshots : includes screenshots of templates. Not for manufacturing.

  • Theme : folders for the WordPress themes.

  • tc-museum-pro.zip: All of the assets required for the theme are contained in this folder.

  • license.txt : information of the license.

  • readme.txt : feature details on the theme's image paths and font usage instructions.

TC Key Activation

The steps for activating a TC key are as follows.

As you will get the License Key on your Email, use that key to Activate License.

Follow the following Process to Activate License.

Go to the Dashboard Appearance TC Key Activation Enter Key Save Changes.

After Entering The Key Activate Licence.

After you Activate Licence,Once the key is operational, you can Getstarted with the Theme.

This will enable you to turn on your Licence Key.

Incorrect file permissions can block WordPress from creating folders, upload images, or run some scripts

WordPress needs permissions to manage files and create folders on the server.

  • After that select all folders in root directory and then right click to select ‘File Permissions’.
  • wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> click on checkbox read and write >> Click on the OK button to continue

Template Installation

Installing a template is a simple procedure.

Step 1. Theme Installation

Logging into your WordPress admin area is the first step you need to take. then select on

Click on Browse Button then select your tc-museum-pro.zip theme and click on Install Now Button..

Your theme will now be installed by WordPress, and you will see a success message with a link to activate it or watch a live preview.

Step 2. Install a Theme using FTP

The theme can be uploaded using FTP, which is your second installation choice. To use this technique, first log into your website using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/themes folder. Simply extract the Total folder from the theme file you got and upload it to your server.

then sign in to your WordPress website and go to Appearance Themes to activate total folder.

Plugin Installation.

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to activate plugins If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

To install a WordPress Plugin manually by .zip archive and follow the below steps for Upload plugin .

Install Required Plugins:

In order to use Museum theme you need to install and activate Museum Pro plugin without this theme you can not display your content on your site.

1.Add Plugin : Go to Dashboard Add New Upload plugin..

click on the install now button and activate.

One-Click Demo Content Importer

To set up your theme, simply select to import sample content. You can follow the instructions in this content to create your website for website creation.

Go toDashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Then select "Run Importer" after selecting "Demo Content Importer".

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section

Section reordering basically means to arranage the section as per our requirement. in order to proceed with this section you need to drag section on top or bottom where you need it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

You can reorder sections by simply dragging and dropping the choices into the desired order.

In order to proceed with Section Ordering.

Step 1 Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customizing >> Plugin Setting >> Section Ordering

After selecting "Demo Content Importer," click "Run Importer."

How to set up homepage

The index page with the most recent post will be present when you visit your site after the theme has been activated. You must now configure the home page design so that your front page displays the entire demo area.


Setup Home Page

Set up your home page by following these steps.

1. Create Page to set template : Go to Dashboard Pages Add New Page.

Select the template.

2. Set the front page: Go to Setting Reading Set the front page display static page to home page.

When you're finished, the top page will display the entire demo.

How to Setup Additional Theme Add Ons

1.The component must first be downloaded from the source (which will be a zip file). ( Post Type plugin.zip). Then, access the Plugins » Add New page in the WordPress admin area.

2.Then, select the Upload Plugin button located at the top of the screen.

3.Select the Upload Plugin option that is at the screen's top after that.

4.After choosing the file, you must pick the install now option.

5.The plugin file from your machine will now be uploaded to WordPress, where it will be installed. After installation is complete, a notification like this will appear.

6.To use the plugin after installation, select the link that says "Activate Plugin."
