Sorry. Another never-mind. I managed to export the customizer options in the parent theme, and re-import them into the child them. That seems to do the trick.
rickg013ParticipantHi,
I grabbed the child theme, downloaded and activated it. However, rather than inheriting the modifications I made to my install of TC E-commerce shop pro, it basically overwrites it and resets it back to stock.
I thought a child theme was supposed to inherit everything about the parent.
rickg013ParticipantNever mind on the above. Tried a different plugin (Foo Gallery), and that seems to work. I’ll go with that.
rickg013ParticipantThanks for your help with the CSS file. Found it and made the change.
I’m using a plugin called Photo Gallery. You can see a sample gallery below.
http://carliescakes.com/sample-page/When you click on the images, it loads the full-sized image rather than loading the lightbox.
Loading it into the dev console: it gives me this error: “TypeError: jQuery.get(…).success is not a function”However, like I said, the plugin works for other themes.
(ps: I tried the plugin you suggested, but it’s a bit too simple for what I’m trying to do).
rickg013ParticipantAnother question. When I enable TC Commerce my lightbox functionality stops working. Activate another plugin and it works fine again. Any help?
rickg013ParticipantI’m having trouble customizing colors. I want to change the color of the top header bar … which is easy enough in the customizer, but when the site is made responsive, the original color (red) remains. And I can’t find anyway to change it. I’ve even done a find / replace in the CSS code for that color, replacing all instances of it with the new color, yet the mobile site continues to have a big red bar in the middle of it.
